Webform Global Purge
Managing form submission data retention across dozens of webforms is tedious and error-prone. This module lets you set a single default purge schedule that applies automatically to every webform on your site — essential for GDPR compliance without per-form configuration.
Webform Global Purge solves a common compliance headache for organisations running Drupal sites with multiple webforms. Under GDPR and similar data retention regulations, form submission data must be deleted after a defined period — but configuring that purge schedule on each webform individually is time-consuming and easy to overlook when new forms are added.
This module sets a global default purge schedule. Any webform on the site inherits the configured retention period automatically. Existing per-form overrides continue to work, so teams can apply a blanket policy while retaining the flexibility to adjust specific forms where needed.
The module works with Drupal 9, 10, and 11, and the latest 1.1.0 release adds a privacy disclaimer message. It is maintained by DICTU, the Dutch government ICT organisation, which gives it a credible compliance pedigree. The module is covered by Drupal's security advisory policy.
